The game
Players manage their own plot of animals. They can buy animals honestly from a shared conveyor, or break into other players’ bases and take theirs, using troll tools like the slap to stun rivals.
Built by CreatureLabs, a small indie team, where I was one of the core contributors.
What I built
- Core loop and framework. The structure the rest of the game runs on.
- Bases. Saving and loading each player’s plot.
- Stealing and the conveyor. How animals are bought, carried, and stolen.
- Rarity and spawning. Rarity tiers and randomized spawns.
- Progression. Rebirths, shops, and timed events.
- Troll tools. Tools such as the slap, kept in sync for every player.
